How We Grow!
It is never too late to start growing.
“To change your life, you must change the way you think. Behind everything you do is a thought. Every behavior is motivated by a belief, and every action is prompted by an attitude. God revealed this thousands of years before psychologist understood it: be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.”
“Let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God- what is good and is pleasing to Him and is perfect.” Romans 12:2B (TEV)
Question to ask yourself: What is one area where I need to stop thinking my way and start thinking God’s way?
~ Rick Warren, What On Earth Am I Here For?
*Start today changing the way you think and when negative thoughts come to mind replace them with positive thoughts.*
2 Corinthians 10:5King James Version (KJV)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Philippians 4:8King James Version (KJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
The moment you realize that you may not fit into someone’s life the way you place them into yours, it’s ok. Sometimes your season is up so move on, take it for what it was worth and know it’s ok. Stop trying to make seasonal or situational people lifetime people. Accept and appreciate those who want you, accept you, appreciate you, and celebrate you. A relationship should never be one sided….. Real Talk!!!!!
If you did not know today is International Women’s Day. Take a look at this article to see what it’s about. Something to take into consideration and think about.
I wanted to share and something to think about. I’ve been guilty!
Four of the Ten Commandments deal with our relationship to God while the other six deal with our relationships with people. Relationships, not achievements or acquisition of things, are what matters most in life. So why do we allow our relationships to get the short end of the stick? Busyness is a great enemy of relationships. We become preoccupied with making a living, doing our work, paying bills, and accomplishing goals as if these tasks are the point of life. They are not. The point of life is learning to love- God and people. Life minus love equals zero. Love leaves a legacy.
When life is ending, people don’t surround themselves with objects. What we want around us is people- people we love and have relationships with. In our final moments we all realize that relationships are what life is all about. Wisdom is learning that TRUTH SOONER rather than Later.
The more time you give something, the more you reveal its importance and value to you. If you want to know a person’s priorities, just look at how they use their time. Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you will never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.
It is not enough just to say relationships are important; we must prove it by investing time in them. Words alone are WORTHLESS.
The essence of love is not what we think or do or provide for others, but how much we give of ourselves. Men, in particular, often don’t understand this. Many have said to me, “I don’t understand my wife and kids. I provide everything they need. What more could they want?” They want you! Your eyes, your ears, your time, your attention, your presence, your focus–your time. Nothing can take the place of that.~ Rick Warren What On Earth Am I Here For
We can’t replace the time we take away from our loved ones, especially our children. They are only children once and for a short period of time…. Real Talk!!!
This clip speaks volumes. When you are truly ready to walk with God and allow Him into all areas of your life and if you are single then maybe this will inspire you or even help parents who have teens. God will send you the one who was meant for you, who will wait on you and do the necessary things to get you to be his wife not his “wifey” :-)…….. Real Talk!!!
This is my favorite pic of describing what soul ties look like. I wish I had a realization of what it looked like earlier in life. I thank God for being a forgiving God and His redemption. If I can inspire someone from walking down this road, then sharing my testimony will be worth it. I’ve been down this road and 99.9% of the time it ends in heartache and pain and if the .1% is the real deal, he will WAIT. Trust ME, WAIT ON GOD!!! It’s never too late to start. If a guy or female can’t wait, and I mean really wait, not sleeping with someone else until you get married, TRUST ME HE/SHE IS NOT THE ONE. Wait on it…… It’s overated….. It was meant for married people so the only soul tie would be is with that one person and not 10 plus all the others each of them slept with….Real Talk!!!
The statement is: “If he changes the way he treats you when he’s around his friends, he either hasn’t been keeping it real with them or he hasn’t been keeping it real with you.”-Mr. Amari Soul
My question to you:
1. At what point do you say something when you realize this is happening, right then or later?
2. How many times should this be allowed?
3. If you are out on a date and this happens, what should you do, leave or stay?
People do what we allow them to do. If a person can’t be the same with you in public as they are behind closed doors then you don’t need to be in that relationship. No one should be hidden unless there is something that’s not right in that relationship. A relationship that starts in darkness probably will not go far unless it can allow light to come in, in all areas, and make the necessary corrections.
God is a God of light, not darkness. Light help things grow. Real Talk!
Pleading the blood of Jesus is so important to do daily over your family. Asking God’s angels of protection to encamp around you and your family. No weapon formed against you and your family shall prosper. Anything the devil meant for evil against you and your family God will turn it around for good. Ask for God’s traveling mercies daily to and from your destination.
This is the vehicle from the accident my son was in when I picked up this book that was sitting on my dresser. I had just said a prayer from the book about angels being dispatched protecting the kids, then my son called saying he was in this car accident about a minute later. Both kids was able to walk away with their lives. My son was the passenger of this vehicle. Do I believe the power of praying over my family for God’s protection is a must? YES, daily it’s important and I hope this a testimony for anyone who doesn’t think it’s important.
